All agencies appoint representatives of the contracting officer whose job
is to evaluate how well the contractor is fulfilling the contract. Yet, obtaining timely teaming effort from the contractor and procurement representatives alike is a challenge. This three-day forum is organized to give Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) a direct opportunity to discover better ways of communicating in resolving contractor concerns as well as problems between the program/project offices and the contracts area. Recent contracts will be used to illustrate state-of-the-art topics and concerns presented throughout the seminar. Industry will take away a clearer, comprehensive perspective of the COR challenges and how to partner better to resolve them. This class counts toward the FAC-COR or FAC-P/PM Certification.
